Why You Can Not Ever Be Powerless

We speak in conversation about giving our power away to others. It is true that we often abdicate our personal power.

But if our power is ours, and it is not defined by time or space therefore being intangible, how can it end up with anyone else?

That could be like saying the Earth’s gravitational field gave up a piece of itself to the Sun.

No, it didn’t. There are laws of the physical world that dictate that that cannot happen. So then where does our power go when we abdicate it?

Nowhere. That’s right. Nowhere.

We relate to it like it goes somewhere because of how we relate to the physical world that we can see, touch, taste, feel and hear all around us. If we slice a pie into portions and take away one of those slices, the slice physically must go somewhere; even if that’s just to the bottom of our stomach. Physically, it still exists somewhere – albeit in different forms, but still in existence. Our power, however, is not governed by our physical senses, because it cannot be sensed by our physical senses.

It lives in the feeling world; in the world of our “other” senses, where we can feel but in an intangible manner. So the only thing measuring the abdication of our power is our Mind. And its method of measurement is Thought – which cannot be measured in time and space either.

Our thoughts create our life experience. Our thoughts are the boundaries of how we experience and what we experience in life.

Our thoughts tell us, If we can’t feel our power “here,” then our power must have gone “there.”

That’s the illusion. You can feel powerless, but you cannot be powerless.

Our power was/is with us the whole time. Our thoughts belied that. And that’s how powerful thinking is. Because you believed it. What is belief, but another thought? And it was belief (or thought) that left you powerless in the moment, the hour, the day, the year, the decade… or whenever.

Powerless you are not. Powerful you are.

Always remember… This is one perspective among multitudes in the world. Take what resonates and leave the rest.

I like to consider myself fierce bliss, because I wholeheartedly support the revolution and evolution of all people to their truest bliss. It's not about ridiculous happiness in a false front. It is about a connection to your heart in a way that honors your truest self. Every day, n my own life, I seek grace and find it... in everything and everyone. Bliss is a possibility for us all. I'm here as myself, to share my story. If anyone finds themselves reflected in my journey from Depression, they are welcome to whatever benefit it brings. We all need a little embrace, and I'm here in love and in bliss.
