Real Bliss 48

The Tao Te Ching speaks of the Master doing nothing. And in this sentence, the essence of not-doing is revealed.

Just as the path of least resistance has nothing to do with laziness, not-doing has nothing to do with magical thinking.

Not-doing is simply ceasing to be oriented around action for the sake of action – essentially being a hamster on the wheel. Motivational speakers talk of taking action like that’s the thing that causes movement in life. Moving your body does not constitute the only movement in life. Being busy is not everything.

Just like the gardener knows there is much that is happening between the time the seed is planted and the sprout breaks ground, so too is much happening in a life that has nothing to do with physical action. Learn how to have movement while being at rest. This is the magic of life.

I consider myself fierce bliss, because I support everyone's revolution and evolution to theirs. It's not about happiness in a false front. It is about a connection to who you are that feels most authentic to you. The word, Authenticity, can be found in so many formulas these days, but authenticity is not a concept or something to be found only in someone else's tutelage. It cannot be given to someone. It must be sought out in the way only each of us can within ourselves. Each day, in my own life, I seek grace... and I find it. Bliss is a fount for us all. I'm here to share my story. If anyone finds themselves reflected in my journey, they are welcome to whatever benefit it brings. We all need a little embrace, and I'm here, embracing bliss so that you may embrace your own.
