Are We Healthy, Truly?

There is still so much stigma around mental health in the world today, even in this age of self-awareness, self-reflection and self-development, or self-improvement.

Even today we still don’t deal with that we are all hurting inside to different degrees, with different intensity, and with our focus in different directions. But we are all in some kind of pain – whether we acknowledge it, avoid it or suppress it.

We must upend our idea of “healthy,” I mean really turn it on its ear to explore what mental health and, more importantly, emotional health can look like in today’s world with today’s concerns and today’s tools.

If we are to truly come to new conclusions that fit for us today, we need to discover our emotions and our thinking anew. And we must continue to make the connections between our emotional and mental health and our physical health challenges.

It is possible. It is all possible.

I've been through quite a transformation recently. I had to because my life would not expand any further, and I wasn't sure if I wouldn't close down my website altogether. I found something new in my journey. It offered an opportunity to tell my story. A story of depression and recovery, and new birth into a life that's sustainable - for me. I hope you join me on my journey if it offers anything to you about yours. I'm looking for grace - we all need it in these times.
